What´s your neighbourhood like?

I have lived in the northwest of Guayaquil. In Jardines del Salado neighborhood for eight years.

I like my neighbourhood, It is very quiet but the City Hall built a basketball court. My family can not sleep because the players make too much noise. They play every day until 1:00 am and they say bad words and do not respect the people.

My neighborhood was quiet enough, it was very beautiful but my family and I need to move in inmediately.

Hill (Mapasingue este)

I live in the north of the city.
I like my neighbourhood because I live in a hill.

Where I live is on the principal street and there is a bit noisy and the street is too narrow.
The good things is that the people are helpful, there aren't many dogs in the neighbourhood.
There are enough shoops in my neighbourhood.

In winter, my young neighbours play football in the street, but there aren't enough football courts to play.

I get enough sleep for all night them I get up early and I go to the job.

All people give enough money for different activities with children. There is one park.

I like my neigbourhood, It is small but quiet all we get on very well there are around 100 people, living here nearby there is a football and basketball courts, where we meet for playing, our neighbourhood is clean or people who visit the other families, also there is parking space for those who have cars.

My name is Marcelo Mazacòn. I live in the center of Duran. I like my neighbourhood because it is very organized. In my neighbourhood has a beautiful park where many people do exercise but also there are too many gangs at midnight.

On Christmas there are many generous people who give toys to poor children.

My name is Richard, I have lived in the center of the city for 8 years.

I think this place is too good for me.

Here I work hard and I earn enough money to pay my university and buy groceries to eat.

There are some shops around my apartment, but there aren’t any parks.

There center is the most important zone. People don’t have enough time to play. There are too many buses in my neighbourhood.

I live in the shouth of the city, I lioke my neighbourhood , but

I live in an area of the city and It´s a long way fron the park

There aren´t enough people because there is to much crime and my neighbourhood is not nice enough bacause the gangsters.

I ´ve got too much work to do to clearn my neighbourhood.

I like my neighbourhood because there are beautiful streets but there is to much traffic.

Hi , my name is Jorge, I live in the city of Guayaquil.

I love my city

The city is visited by many tourists, the shouln´t walker on dark streets debri by crime . They should not distract is, by visiting the malecon 2000 and enjoy everything around you tourists should visit the Cerro Santa Ana, they should take a walk down the street on October 9 and should go dancing in the pink zone. They should go to the different shopping centers that the city and should go to the movies, they should know my city, visiting our museums.

My Neighbourhoods

I live in the north of the city, I don`t like my neighbourhoods, there are too many robbers, it`s too isolated and dark.
In my neigbourhoods there isn`t enough security, sometimes the police find cars that have been robbered and the people are scared.
Also, in my opinion there aren`t enough plubic buses, you can only take one bus, if you want to take other bus you have to walk about 10 blocks.
A positive thing of ny neighbourhoods is it`s very quiet, people are quiet and sometimes helpful.
There are a lot of friends, we usually play football or volleyball in the street, when it`s holiday we organize a championship, the kids are very happy and some neighbours prepare enough food.

Hello! My name is Reynaldo. I`m from Guayaquil and I will start explaining the things you should do and shouldn`t do in my city. First, you should find a confortable hotel, actually Guayaquil is unsafe and you mustn`t take any risk. The first place you should visit is "Las Peñas". It`s a traditional place where people go to discos and go up to the lighthouse. Also you should walk along "Malecon 2000", here you can see the river "Guayas" and eat traditional food of Guayaquil.
Remember! You shouldn`t go to dangerous streets or neighbourhoods, because there are a lot of robbers.
Other things you should do in Guayaquil is visit the "Parque Histórico", if you want to arrive to this place. You should take a taxi or rent a car.
If your city has a cold weather, don`t forget to bring light clothes because Guayaquil has a tropical weather.

There are somethings what a tourist should/shouldn't do in GYE:

A tourist shouldn't leave home after midnight because there are many criminals.

A tourist should eat the typical food for example: "ceviche", fish and afrodiciac food.

There are many interesting place to visit In GYE for example: MALECON 2000, museums, "MALECON SALADO", "LAS PEÑAS" and shops.

A tourist should walk in MALECON 2000 and take some pictures of the GUAYAS RIVER.

MALECON 2000 is a beautiful place to visit every year in GYE.

A tourist should visit the museums and downtown and finally a tourist shouldn't talk on the cell phone in Quito and Machala avenues.

Hi, my name is Carolina Quituisaca, I'm from Gye. my city has good and bad things like all cities in the world.

The first, you should put on suncream if you like walking because you should visit many tourist places like Peñas and Malecon 2000.

After that don't forget to eat the typical food because is very delicious and should go to the museums and try ti go to "Mercado Artesanal " but you must have a lot of money in your hand bag and you shouldn't carry an ipad in the park, also you should be careful with the video camera...
Ohhhh...but the best is in the night you can go to the "Zona Rosa" there are many night clubs where you can dance, but don't forget to avoid dangerous places.
